Salvation, A Comma At The End Of Faith

Speaking of comma's, we have been learning that there is no way to put a period on “the word of faith;” because it is an unfolding revelation. [Rom 10:8]

The moment one feels that you have a grasp on the Lord, you begin to discover that you really haven't “apprehended that for which (you have been) apprehended of Christ Jesus.” [Phil 3:12]

Although faith is a necessary pathway to salvation, salvation is not the “end” of faith; rather the doorway to  “eternal life;” that we may “follow on to know the Lord.”      [1 Tim 6:12; Hos 6:3a]

That is why the “way” of the Lord is “from faith to faith;”
and “eternal life” is to “know the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom (God) has sent.”  [Jn 17:3]

Jesus said: “No man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and (those) to whom the Son (chooses to) reveal Him.” [Lk 10:22]

ThenSingsMySoul:

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE
NOT IN DEVICE OR CREED.
I TRUST THE EVER LIVING ONE,
HIS WOUNDS FOR ME SHALL PLEAD.

I NEED NO OTHER ARGUMENT
I NEED NO OTHER PLEA.
IT IS ENOUGH THAT JESUS DIED,
AND THAT HE DIED FOR ME.
