Jenelsie's Corner (#192)

My Grace and Truth Family,

The recent ministry to us of truth about God as our FATHER is “mind-blowing”!  Of course, this is not the first and only WORD HE has delivered to us regarding His fatherhood, but with the ground plowed and seed planted deeply, the root system is developing.  The harvest of this incorruptible seed shall come forth!

The harvest manifests transformed minds—minds like unto Christ Jesus, our Lord.  Our “faith” will demonstrate its “perfect” definition of DEPENDING solely on our FATHER.  No longer will our “fleshly wills” dominate; the Life of the Son shall produce doing the “will of the Father.”  We shall live out of our inheritance—more than what we are able to ask or think.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!  Our Lord’s death on the cross, His resurrection, and His ascension brought this W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L relationship to us.  Now His SPIRIT gives us access to our W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L FATHER

Blow our minds, LORD!  The LORD JESUS is our Hope!

A Word of Revelation: Out Of Pastor's Mouth

Out from a word, on “Living In Today-Pt 2,” came a revelatory illustration of two opposing laws (“gravity” & “aerodynamics”); that were made for our spiritual stability/sobriety; even our very survival, on this terra firma, that the Lord created (remember “offenses must come”) [Matt 18:7]

In Pastor's own words, the Spirit painted this attention getting portrait; by calling out two volunteers to represent 1) the law of gravity, & 2) the law of aerodynamics.

And I quote:
“Now these 2 laws co-exist; they need one another ...yet one is greater than the other. We are all being maintained by the law of gravity. It has authority over these bodies, and it keeps us connected to the planet. However, there is another law, (in operation), and the same one who established the law of “gravity” established the law of “aerodynamics” (as well) ...a law that the (eagles) use. The law of “gravity” doesn't stop operating for the (eagles); but there is another law that (the eagles) operate by; that we as (spiritual) men (and women) ought to operate by (also) ... the law of the Spirit. (Note) The law of “gravity” (aka the flesh) does not have us in bondage; but has authority to operate (so long as we are physically earth bound) (...but “the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free” to soar with the eagles; far above the pull of the law of “gravity;” aka sin in the flesh) So, when the law of “aerodynamics” is in play, over against the law of “gravity;” all that is fulfilled in the dynamics of these 2 laws manifests (how the one supercedes or nullifys the effect of the other) You might ask How do we “mortify the deeds of the flesh, and walk in the Spirit?” Simply by following the Lamb; for “if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.”
[Rom 8:2, 13; Gal 5:16, 18]

ThenSingsMySoul:

LOVE AND MARRIAGE, LOVE AND MARRIAGE,
GO TOGETHER LIKE A HORSE AND CARRIAGE.
THIS I TELL YOU, BROTHER;
YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER.

So it is regarding the necessity of “gravity” and “aerodynamics.”
As it is “better to marry than to burn,” so is it better to have “gravity” with “aerodynamics”  than to utterly perish. God is at work “in the midst” of contradictions.

Jenelsie's Corner (#191)

My brothers and sisters,

What can be said about the Word of the Lord which has been sent to us?  This Word, sent from our Father, is conforming us into the image of His Son—our personal cry and desire is to be “like Jesus.”  The conformation is really nothing like we imagined, is it?  And we are being washed in our minds by the water of the Word.  Our Lord Jesus said that if He does not wash us (with His Word), then we have no part with Him.  Now, this is a sobering thought!!!

So we say, “Thank you for your Word, Lord, and wash me!!!”

Today!

There is something about “Behold, NOW is the day of salvation” that rivets our focus on the importance of priorities.
 [2 Cor 6:2]

When Paul said he was “forgetting (yesterday, ie) those things which are behind,” he was setting the standard whereby our steps, too, would be ordered of the Lord.
[Phil 3:13; Ps 119:133]

Jesus taught us: “therefore take no thought for (tomorrow)...for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Instead, Jesus lived a life that was DAILY led of the Spirit of the Living God; trusting in Abba's faithful word of promise; thereby leaving us an example, that we should follow His steps.” [Matt 6:34; 1 Pet 2:21]

In His covenant faithfulness, Abba “daily (loads) us with benefits,” so that we might be free of the distraction of cares, in pressing toward the mark of His calling upon our lives; to do His will, for the witness.
[Ps 68:19]

ThenSingsMySoul:

TOMORROW, WHO PROMISED YOU TOMORROW?
BETTER CHOOSE THE LORD TODAY!
FOR TOMORROW
VERY WELL MIGHT BE TODAY!!!

Jenelsie's Corner (#190)

My Grace and Truth Family,

As you consider the goodness of our Lord in His supply of your need, isn’t it “something” how HE has blessed so many times over?  So much stuff has been made available to us or literally handed to us that our desire for one more thing is merely out of our lust.  Yet we carry the attitude as if HE has failed to come through as the “provider” that HE says HE is.  What an arrogant and selfish mindset!  We have money, or at least access to it, to go where we want, to have what we want, and to do what we want.  For many of us, even those things in our “dream-world” have become a reality.  HE has not withheld good things from us.

There is no wonder that HE calls us to repentance—meaning not just a change of mind but also the supernatural work of the Holy Ghost so that our reference in life is not about “me” (what’s good for me) but about HIM; we have a new life in Christ Jesus now, and HE is to be our reference point.  Yes, our whole realm of understanding must be dealt with and can only be dealt with by HIS WORD.  This “deep” thing is only accomplished by the Holy Ghost; we need the Holy Ghost!

Here is good news, though.  Rejoice and be exceedingly glad!  Our Lord is at work in our midst to bring us to repentance which is right in His sight.  Just “hear” what HE is speaking to us and see how HE is washing our minds and cleansing us from this unrighteousness.  HIS WORD is sent to deliver us.  Let us pray that HE will open our eyes to “see” this new life differently.  Our Lord has specifically and repeatedly said to us in this assembly that the process of living by faith is preceded by repentance.  My sisters and brothers, let us pray!

With love in Christ Jesus,

That We Might Be Partakers

Talk about “power to become sons (and daughters) of God;” this is one “exceeding great and precious promise” that only God Himself could bring to pass.
[Jn 1:12; 2 Pet 1:4]

After all, think about it, how is it that God, thru Christ (our Creator) can change the “nature” of whosoever believes...and how can any man who is in Christ become “a new creature?”
[2 Pet 1:4; 2 Cor 5:17]

It is the outworking of the Spirit of God from within “(causing us) to walk in His statutes, and keep His judgments.”
[Ezek 36:26-27]

To become “partakers of the divine nature” of God is a  “covenant promise” privilege that each believer has, in Christ...”for it is God that worketh in (us), both to will and to do His good pleasure.”
[2 Pet 1:3-4; Phil 2:13]

Never forget that all that we are, or ever hope to be, is because of Christ's finished work on the cross.

ThenSingsMySoul:

OH! TO BE LIKE THEE, OH! TO BE LIKE THEE,
BLESSED REDEEMER, PURE AS THOU ART;
COME IN THY SWEETNESS, COME IN THY FULLNESS;
STAMP THINE OWN IMAGE DEEP ON MY HEART.

Jenelsie's Corner (#189)

Dear Grace and Truth,

The opportunity to spend a couple of days with my dad was such a blessing.  I saw him in a different light this time; I heard his words with a different “ear.”  He moved throughout the house with a purpose, and he spoke with an authority.  At one point, for no apparent reason, he reached into his pocket and placed a “little something” in my hand while asserting that he was giving just because he is my dad.

An understanding was opened by the Holy Ghost during Dad’s visit.  It was simple, yet profound.  I saw clearly how all my experiences with him have brought out a view of him as “dad” heretofore hidden by immaturity.  His imparted wisdom and care for me as his daughter have now become very special.

If my earthly father knows how to give of “himself” so that his love for me might be manifested, how much more has my Heavenly Father given of “Himself” to manifest His love.  The Holy Ghost was at work all these years, in and out of situations, to show the Father through His Son.  More mature eyes can now see Him and cry by His Spirit, “Abba, Father.”  Hallelujah!

I just wanted to share this testimony with you.

Love in our Lord,

Salvation, A Comma At The End Of Faith

Speaking of comma's, we have been learning that there is no way to put a period on “the word of faith;” because it is an unfolding revelation. [Rom 10:8]

The moment one feels that you have a grasp on the Lord, you begin to discover that you really haven't “apprehended that for which (you have been) apprehended of Christ Jesus.” [Phil 3:12]

Although faith is a necessary pathway to salvation, salvation is not the “end” of faith; rather the doorway to  “eternal life;” that we may “follow on to know the Lord.”      [1 Tim 6:12; Hos 6:3a]

That is why the “way” of the Lord is “from faith to faith;”
and “eternal life” is to “know the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom (God) has sent.”  [Jn 17:3]

Jesus said: “No man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and (those) to whom the Son (chooses to) reveal Him.” [Lk 10:22]

ThenSingsMySoul:

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE
NOT IN DEVICE OR CREED.
I TRUST THE EVER LIVING ONE,
HIS WOUNDS FOR ME SHALL PLEAD.

I NEED NO OTHER ARGUMENT
I NEED NO OTHER PLEA.
IT IS ENOUGH THAT JESUS DIED,
AND THAT HE DIED FOR ME.
