That They May Be ONE IN US

And God said, “Let US make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let man have dominion over the works of Our hands”

Man was made to be fair, and just, and merciful; and walk humbly with the Lord (like Enoch).

[Mic 6:8; Gen 5:24]

In the beginning, God fellowshipped with man; in the garden, in the cool of the evening ...and, after man's conversion, God covenanted to make His abode IN man.

[Gen 3:8-9; Eze 36:27]

note. God chose to create man, for the purpose of loving him; to the intent that man would choose (via free will) to respond in faith to that Love, and thereby “dwell/abide” IN the Godhead. Selah.

Why is God so mindful of man? Because God has to have a people in which to show forth His glory, thru His Son.

Beloved at GTFI,

Yes, brothers and sisters, we have been begotten by our FATHER, "Who art in heaven".  We are His sons and daughters in the earth.  The Spirit of the first begotten Son lives in us; by the Holy Spirit we too can cry out and even call Him, for HE is our "Abba Father."  It's His pleasure to supply our need, giving gifts to His own.  HE loves us with an everlasting love.  We are the praise of HIS GLORY!

As we give recognition to fathers in the earth today, surely we want to give honor to WHOM it's really due--our Heavenly Father.

"Oh, Holy Father, this is our time with You.  Oh, Holy Father, we sing this praise to You.  Glory and honor to no one right now but You--oh, Holy Father, oh Holy Father, we sing to You."

Be encouraged, my family; our Father knows His children by name.  Hallelujah!

"...If Need Be..."

Three little words that emphasize the significance of “faith” being “On Trial.”

[1 Pet 1:5-7]

The pathway to salvation is fraught with “manifold temptations,” but we are admonished to “endure hardness as a good soldier;” that the trial of our faith might be found unto praise and honour and glory, when Christ appears again.

[2 Timothy 2:3; Luke 18:8]

One thing Paul told the church at Corinth is that Love (aka “charity”) suffers long ...but never fails; because “faith worketh by love.”                                                       [1 Corinthians 13:4, 8; Galations 5:6]

Therefore, we should “count it ALL joy, when we fall into divers temptations; knowing that the trying of (our) faith works patience.” And patience will have her perfect work, in us, that we might be matured, lacking in nothing.
