You Were Chosen

On the sixth day, of creation, God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the (works) (of) (our) (hands)” [Gen 1:26; Ps 8:6]
Afterward, King David, “the sweet Psalmist of Israel” declared:
“O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me...You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breath. Every day was recorded in your Book.” [Ps 139:1,16/KJV-TLB]
“Then the Word of the Lord came unto (Jeremiah) , saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations ...Then the Lord put forth His hand, and touched (Jeremiah's) mouth...and said unto (him), Behold I have put My words in thy mouth.” [Jer 1:5, 9]
After Paul's Damascus encounter with Jesus, who instructed him to “Go into the city and wait to be told what you must do,” The Lord said unto (Ananias), “Go and do what I say. For Paul is my chosen vessel to take my message to the (Gentiles) , and before kings, and the children of Israel.” [Acts 9:15]
So what do Adam, David, Jeremiah and Jesus have in common?
To give you a hint, every scriptural account is mounting proof of God's sovereignty to chose, and determine what satisfies His pleasure. [Rev 4:11]
And this is where you and I fit into the picture. You see, Jesus taught His disciples:
“You have not chosen me, (but) I have chosen you” [Jn 15:16] “...and (when you are converted) (you) shall be my witnesses ...” [Lk 22:32;Acts 1:8]; which speaks of God's power (as the Potter) to make us vessels of His purpose.
Upon discovering that Jesus was the immovable object he encountered on the road to Damascus, Paul asked: “Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?” [Acts 9:6]
ThenSingsMySoul:
GO YE THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, GO, GO, GO.
GO YE THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, GO, GO, GO.
BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST: GO, GO, GO!
[Matt 28:19]
