There is something about “Behold, NOW is the day of salvation” that rivets our focus on the importance of priorities.
[2 Cor 6:2]
When Paul said he was “forgetting (yesterday, ie) those things which are behind,” he was setting the standard whereby our steps, too, would be ordered of the Lord.
[Phil 3:13; Ps 119:133]
Jesus taught us: “therefore take no thought for (tomorrow)...for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Instead, Jesus lived a life that was DAILY led of the Spirit of the Living God; trusting in Abba's faithful word of promise; thereby leaving us an example, that we should follow His steps.” [Matt 6:34; 1 Pet 2:21]
In His covenant faithfulness, Abba “daily (loads) us with benefits,” so that we might be free of the distraction of cares, in pressing toward the mark of His calling upon our lives; to do His will, for the witness.
[Ps 68:19]
ThenSingsMySoul:
TOMORROW, WHO PROMISED YOU TOMORROW?
BETTER CHOOSE THE LORD TODAY!
FOR TOMORROW
VERY WELL MIGHT BE TODAY!!!
