GTF Elder C. Edward Smith
In a “word,” that has been ministered in the sanctuary: “Earing The Lord,” it has been established that “FAITH COMES BY HEARING, AND HEARING”(emphasis by the Holy Ghost)[Rom 10:17]
O, that the Lord would allow that we would have “ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.” For, you see, there is greater meaning to the verse: “We walk by faith, and not by sight.” [2 Cor 5:7]
We heard the Lord say that “faith” is “said unseen” vs “seen unsaid;” which set the context for the contrast between the “invisible” and the “visible.”
Can any one of you tell me what “faith” looks like?
You can't see “faith,” but YOU CAN SEE THE FRUIT OF FAITH (evidence of faith's working).
If you can't see the evidence (ie. the “fruit”) of “faith,” then what did the Lord mean when He asked the question: “When the Son of man (returns), shall He find faith on the earth.?” [Lk 18:8]
One might ask the question: “Why Faith?” And the answer is “Without “faith” it is impossible to please God (ie. satisfy God's requirements): for he that (comes) to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” [Heb 11:6]
ThenSingsMySoul:
HAVE FAITH IN GOD, HAVE FAITH IN GOD,
HAVE FAITH IN GOD, HAVE FAITH, HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
