Pharaoh, A Necessary Accessory

...appendage, accomplice to the manifestation of “the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which (God) has prepared; so that (all) may see how very great His glory is.” Talk about a holy adornment.                                 King David said: “Let Thy priests be 'clothed' with  righteousness; and let Thy saints shout for joy.”
[Rom 9:23 KJV/TLB; Ps 132:9]]

I know, it sounds like a far fetched notion; but, when the Spirit quickened this rhema in my spirit, my eyes were opened to the implications when God said to Moses: “Tell Pharaoh ...for this cause have I raised thee up ...to shew in thee My power, and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.”
[Exo 9:13-16; Rom 9:17]

Do you know the same could be said of that old serpent, the Devil, even Satan; who is part of the company of “the vessels of (God's) wrath, fitted to destruction?”
[Rev 12:9; Rom 9:22]

Just as Jesus “learned” the obedience of “faith,” through the things that He suffered; it is ordained that we “follow in His steps,” to be perfected; being obedient unto death.
[Heb 5:8; 1 Pet 2:21; Phil 2:8]

The Foolishness Of Preaching

Ordained by God to confound the wise, and save the lost.

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” [1 Cor 1:18]

You might ask How is it that something so gruesome as a brutal lashing and crucifixion can have such a redemptive result, in the life of whosoever believes?

The answer was foreshadowed in the garden of Eden when; after Adam and Eve sinned against the counsel of God, the Lord made “coats of skins, and (covered their nakedness)” ...and more fully expressed when the Lord entreated, thru His prophet Isaiah: “Come now, and let us reason together ...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson (blood), they shall be as wool.”                                      [Gen 2:16-17; Gen 3:17, 21; Isa 1:18]

Therein is the “mystery of godliness” revealed; that “it pleased the Lord (our Father/God) to bruise (scourge/crucify) (Christ/His Son) to make His soul an offering for (our) sin.” [1 Tim 3:16; Isa 53:10]

That is why “We preach Christ crucified ...who died for our sins...was buried, and rose again (in 3 days) according to the scriptures” [1 Cor 1:23-25; 1 Cor 15:3-4]

Let Us Pray (Reflections Of The National Day Of Prayer)

Father, we say Amen! To the “government” being upon the shoulders of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ; [Isa 9:6] and we say Amen! To “the kingdoms of this world (becoming) the kingdoms of our Lord (God), and of (Your) Christ.”[Rev 11:15] Your “word” is “true,” [Jn 17:17] and 'it' is our “shield and buckler;” [Ps 91:4] so that “we can boldly say (Amen! to) 'the Lord is (our) helper,” and (we) will not fear what man shall do unto (us).” [Heb 13:6] And we further say Amen! to the “covenant” promise that “no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment (we) shall condemn.” [Isa 54:17] Which is why we say Amen! that “the gates of  hell shall not prevail against (the church).” And, with one voice, we say Amen! To the prayer “for the peace of Jerusalem;” [Ps 122:6] ...and, the prayer that “(Your) kingdom come, and (Your) will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.” [Matt 6:10] Father, we also say Amen! To our Lord's prayer that “(we) all may be ONE (in Christ, in You)” [Jn 17:21]

ThenSingsMySoul:

TO HIM WHO SITS ON THE THRONE,
AND UNTO THE LAMB;
BE BLESSING AND GLORY
AND HONOR AND POWER
FOREVER

...in the name of Jesus!
Amen.

The Power In The Gospel

Strong's Concordance rendering of the Greek root of the expression of “power,” mentioned in [Rom 1:16], is 'dunamis;' which translates as DY-NO-MITE! Force.

When it comes to “the gospel of Christ,” God, our Father, has fore-ordained that the preaching thereof would be endued with explosive, Spirit filled, “power” to save every one that believes.

Having been “translated from the power of darkness into the kingdom of (God's) dear Son,” let me be the first to  acknowledge that it took a greater “power” and strength, than my own, to deliver me from the very jaws of death.
[Col 1:13]

Because I WAS SINKING, DEEP IN SIN; FAR FROM THE PEACEFUL SHORE ...can I get a witness? BUT THE MASTER OF THE SEA HEARD MY DESPAIRING CRY; in response to the hearing of the gospel of Christ, AND FROM THE WATER'S (He) LIFTED ME; NOW SAFE AM I.

John, the revelator, wrote:
“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come the kingdom of our Lord, and the POWER of His Christ:”
[Rev 12:10]

ThenSingsMySoul:

SAVED BY HIS POWER DIVINE,
SAVED THROUGH HIS NEW LIFE SUBLIME.
LIFE IS NOW SWEET, JOY IS COMPLETE,
NOW I'M SAVED, SAVED, SAVED!
